The Edwards Heat Pump is about 300% more efficient than a conventional electric hot water system, that means you benefit from a reduction of around 75% in water heating costs.
The Edwards Heatpump does not require direct sunlight to work, operating in all weather conditions.
It works similar to a refrigerator, only, in reverse. Air is drawn in by a fan and warmth from that air is concentrated and transferred to the water via a compressor and heat exchanger.
Suitable for outside applications the Edwards 310 litre Heat Pump easily replaces an existing electric hot water system with minimal changes to existing pipework.
