NSW Government Rebate
• A rebate of $300 is available from the NSW Government when you replace an electric hot water system with a new solar hot water system or heat pump.
• Both the State and Federal rebates can be claimed for the one installation.
• If you have already claimed the ceiling insulation rebate you can only claim the NSW Government rebate.
• The amount of the rebate depends on the RECs rating of the system installed. See the table below.

Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
• RECs are a form of electronic currency that is generated when a new energy efficient hot water system is installed. They are traded, and eventually surrenderred to demonstrate liability compliance against the requirements of the Australian Government's mandatory renewable energy target.
• We offer the dollar value of RECs as a discount off the price of your installed system so you do not have to do any follow up.
• Each solar hot water system is given a REC rating by an impartial Government process. The higher the value of the RECs rating, the better the system performs.
