Skytube Intech® 250
High performance at low sun angles
Until now, tubular skylights have only performed at their optimum
level when the sun is high in the sky (from 10.00am to 2.00pm). In
most instances, tubular skylight performance decreases dramatically
in the early and late afternoon when needed most.
Skytube Intech collects the low elevation sunlight in the early
morning, late afternoon and winter, whilst at the same time
regulating the light during the hot midday summer sun to provide
cooler daylight.
The use of a patented Variable Pitch Adaptor enables
a straight path of light between any roof pitch and ceiling, and to
bypass obstacles without having to bend the tube around them.
The transfer of light down the tube (or the light transfer pipe), is particularly enhanced with Silvertube, a 97% reflective, light transfer
pipe. This guarantees minimal light loss between what enters and
what is transferred to the room below.

Electric Powervent
Removing stagnant heat from the ceiling space and help reduce the risk of sagging ceilings, joint distortion, paint problems and radiant heat entering your home.
One of these powervents is equal to 8 wind powered twirling vents. Twirling vents also let rain into your roof and will not work on a hot day with no wind!
Used in conjunction with under-eaves, or adjustable ceiling vents to create air movement in selected parts of your home for added benefits.

Solar Powered - Powervent
Remove hot air from the ceiling or a room with no running cost
Skydome’s new Solar Powervent hosts a range of features including 10 or 20 watt multicrystalline silicon photovoltaic collector (10 year warranty), mounted on top of the extraction unit. This powers the 38.2 VDC Pittman Motor located in the solid aluminum housing, protecting the motor during severe weather conditions. Powerful extraction is via a 5-wing aluminum fan blade with two options: 12 inch diametre for the 10 watt motor and 14” for the 20 watt motor.
